Origi included in Liverpool’s UCL squad

After months of speculation over whether or not he’d leave the club, Liverpool striker Divock Origi has been included in their squad for the UEFA Champions League group stage. The Belgian made the switch to Anfield back in 2014, when he transferred over from Lille. Despite not being the most prolific goalscorer in the world he showcased some interesting attributes which caught the interest of the Reds, but unfortunately, he hasn’t been able to lock down a consistent place in the first team.

Origi recently enjoyed a loan spell with Wolfsburg, and in the wake of that, it seemed as if Borussia Dortmund could be interested in bringing him back to Germany once again. Unfortunately for them the move never materialised, and now, Origi will once again try and prove to the world that he’s capable of doing some big things both in European competition and in the English Premier League.
