In a battle between two of Italy’s giants in midweek, Serie A leaders Juventus will make the trip to Milan in what could be a lively contest on Tuesday night.

Starting with the hosts, putting in what as a rampant display over the weekend and shocking many across Italy with a 3-0 romp away at Lazio on Saturday night, AC Milan find the mood in their camp at a season-high. Suddenly back in the race to secure a European return, I Rossoneri have collected 10 points out of a possible 12 since returning from the enforced break and Stefano Pioli’s side have really caught the eye with their performances in the final third. With Zlatan Ibrahimović really making an immediate impact since returning to Milan, AC have now bagged 11 Serie A strikes since marking their return last month. With their most recent purple patch highlighted by a 4-1 win against Leece last month, Tuesday’s hosts have also lost just a sole contest on home soil since the start of November.

As for the visitors, with Lazio so publically slipping up against Milan last week and Juventus picking up a 4-1 romp against Torino over the weekend, the Old Lady are within touching distance of reclaiming their Serie A crown. Watching the red-hot Paulo Dybala extend on his stunning return to action on Saturday and now finding the net in each of his last four appearances on the spin, Maurizio Sarri’s side find themselves enjoying a seven-match top-flight winning run. Holding a seven-point buffer at the top of the table and enjoying arguably their brightest run since the former Chelsea boss took charge, Juventus have now bagged 11 strikes in just their last three matchups. In a contest that could see a string of chances at both ends, we’re backing a lively matchup in Milan on Tuesday night.
