Oxford set for Monchengladbach loan

West Ham United starlet Reece Oxford is on the verge of completing a season-long loan to Borussia Monchengladbach, according to the Mail Online.

The teenager became the Hammers’ youngest ever player when he made his senior debut in the opening game of the 2015/16 campaign, but has struggled to hold down a first team place since.

He played a further eleven times that season while he barely got a look in last time around, making just two appearances both of which coming in the Europa League before being shipped out on loan to Reading.

He played five times for the Royals, helping them secure a top six finish only for them to lose in the play-off final to Huddersfield Town.

West Ham have no interest in selling the defender-come-midfielder on a permanent basis with the eighteen year old tipped to be a future captain for both club and country.
