Fenerbahce director Emre Belozoglu has confirmed that the signing of Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is closer than ever before.
They aren’t expected to break the bank to bring Ozil back over to Turkey, but based on how his tenure with the Gunners in the last few years has gone, we can’t imagine that’ll prove to be too much of a stumbling block.
Ozil was once considered to be one of the best players in world football and while some fans and critics may still view him in that light, he’s got some serious catching up to do after being forced to sit out for most of the last few years.
