According to a report from Sky Sports, Ante Palaversa is currently undergoing a medical prior to completing his move to Manchester City. The belief is that the teenage sensation will join City before being loaned back to Hajduk Split, but there has yet to be any official confirmation on that. Palaversa would be joining City’s under 23s team on a four year deal, and would return to Hajduk in order to get more time in the first team. The Croatia U19s international has just begun getting some game time with the club, which is a commodity he likely wouldn’t receive with Pep Guardiola’s side right now.
He is a player who is quite clearly a target for the future and there’s nothing wrong with that, especially given how stacked City’s squad is at this moment in time.
Manchester City will be returning to action tonight in their trip up north to face Newcastle United.
