According to Sport.es, a big offer is on the table for Paulinho to return to Chinese football. The 29-year-old, who moved to the Nou Camp last year, previously had a two-year spell with Guangzhou Evergrande after making the jump over from Tottenham Hotspur. Paulinho is often viewed as a powerful box-to-box midfielder, but the question remains as to whether or not he’ll decide to follow the money again over to China.
Barca are supposedly remaining calm about the situation, with some suggesting that an offer of €50 million would be more than enough to lure him away from the Spanish giants.
The rise of Chinese football hasn’t exactly been a subtle one, with several high profile players deciding to cash in and make the move over there.
