According to reports over in Italy, Manchester United are interested in signing Lorenzo Pellegrini. The Red Devils are set to be very busy in both the January transfer window and next summer if reports are to be believed, as Jose Mourinho attempts to turn the ship around following an uneasy start to the Premier League campaign.
The 22 year old Pellegrini plays for Roma over in Serie A, with this being a strong link to the point where the two clubs are already said to be in talks. The reports are inferring that Mourinho has had an actual conversation with Pellegrini regarding the possibility of him making the move to Old Trafford, and given that his release clause is £26.5 million, it seems very likely that they’ll be able to stump up the cash necessary to lure him to the Premier League. Then again, Roma have indicated that they’ll do just about anything to keep hold of their top stars.
