Portuguese defender Pepe returned to his boyhood club this winter after a two-year spell with Besiktas.
The 35-year-old was an unused substitute in last weekend’s derby against Sporting but was given a full debut in the Portuguese Cup against Leixoes on Tuesday night.
Porto scraped through into the next stage of the competition after extra time but one of the most notable moments of the game came a bit earlier when Pepe produced a trademark savage tackle to make his full announcement in Portugal.
