Pickford wants to become Everton legend

In the wake of signing a new six year deal with Everton, goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has revealed that he wants to become a club legend with the Toffees. Pickford has been on a gradual rise for a few years now, and he took things to the next level this past summer when he put in a string of impressive performances during England’s run to the semi finals of the World Cup.

Now, though, it seems even more likely that Pickford’s deal isn’t just to save Everton’s back if a bigger team come in with a bid for him. The youngster seems intent on building a legacy for himself at Goodison Park, to the point where he could join some of the finest goalkeepers to ever don the blue strip.

Pickford’s first game with his new deal will take place this weekend, when they attempt to get back to winning ways against Fulham.
