Pochettino has Levy’s Spurs support

“We maintain a very good relationship and it is extraordinary to have that support.

“I have always told him that, in addition to my chairman, I consider him a friend.”

Those are the words of Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino who has now confirmed that he still has the support of Daniel Levy despite Spurs’ poor start to the season in the Premier League and Champions League. The Argentine has come under fire in recent weeks with some suggesting that he could be on the verge of being sacked as boss, with their 3-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion being pinpointed as a perfect reason why he qualifies for such a dismissal.

However, Levy seems to be standing firm as opposed to caving under pressure, which can only be a good thing for the club as they continue to go in search of some much needed stability in the top flight.
