(GSM) – Porto remain in first place in the Portuguese league following a 0-2 win at Rio Ave, while Sporting Braga returned to winning ways in a home match against Maritimo.

One goal in each half was enough for Porto to make a difference at Rio Ave. One of seven South Americans in Porto’s line-up, Brazilian Hulk, scored the opener after 22 minutes and netted another five minutes after the hour.

Following last week’s 0-0 draw at Vitoria Setubal, Braga got back on the winning track with a narrow 1-0 win over Maritimo.

The only goal of the match, played at Braga’s AXA stadium, came from Silvio in the last minute before the interval.
