A long domestic season is slowly but surely coming to an end in Italy and tomorrow night, a big chapter will be closed on yet another Coppa Italia campaign. A parade of clubs fought valiantly to make it to the latter stages of the competition but only two will remain, and in classic Italian football fashion, it’ll be a real meeting of the minds between two of the all-time greats: Juventus and Inter Milan.

Juventus

Juventus haven’t been able to push for the title in the manner they would’ve liked but the shining light for them is that in addition to probable Champions League football next season, they’ve also looked good in the Coppa Italia. They tore through Sampdoria in the Round of 16 before pushing past Sassuolo in the quarters, and then in the semi-finals, they were emphatic with a 3-0 aggregate win over Fiorentina.

Pellegrini and Locatelli are both back for Juve but aren’t likely to feature from the word go here, with the only big absence being De Sciglio who is suspended for the final.

Inter Milan

Inter Milan are trailing rivals AC Milan by just a few points as we head into the final few games of the Serie A season, with Inzaghi’s men having some work to do if they’re going to retain the strap. In terms of the Coppa Italia, though, they’ve looked pretty solid up to this point with victories over Empoli, Roma and a strong two-legged semi-final win over AC to their name.

Inter have been tipped to field their strongest possible starting XI with the only big concern being Bastoni, who will still probably start despite a calf problem.
