PSG agree deal for Kurzawa

Radio Monte Carlo is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain are set to complete the signing of Layvin Kurzawa from Monaco.

The Saints appeared to have given up on the full-back after having had two offers rejected for the 23-year-old footballer, but Monaco’s failure to reach the Champions League group stages appears to have changed everything.

The Principality club are now open to selling their prized asset and reportedly had a €23 million proposal accepted for their star player.

According to Radio Monte Carlo, the deal should be made official by the end of the day, with Kurzawa arriving at Parc des Princes to challenge Maxwell for a starting berth.

The France international has largely impressed playing for Monaco over the last couple of years and he finally looks set to complete a big club move.

After missing the first leg through injury, Kurzawa couldn’t help the Principality club eliminate Valencia in the Champions League play-off as the 2-1 triumph in the return leg did not prove sufficient.
