PSG handed boost in Munir chase

French giants Paris Saint-Germain have been handed a welcoming boost in an attempt to lure Barcelona starlet Munir El Haddadi to Parc des Princes.

The Saints are keeping close tabs on the Spain international and hope to add him to their ranks at the earliest opportunity.

According to Sport, Barcelona are ready to allow the youngster to leave on loan next summer with his development having stalled over the last few months.

Munir began the season as a regular starter with Luis Suarez suspended, making 10 La Liga appearances and even earning his first Spain cap.

However, he has featured in just two league matches since November and was in turn relegated to the reserves.

The club officials believe a season-long loan would help the 19-year-old kick start his career, and no doubt that Paris Saint-Germain will be readying an official proposal for the forward’s services in the coming months.
