According to a recent report from L’Equipe, French champions Paris Saint-Germain have not yet opened talks with Edinson Cavani over the possibility of extending a new contract with the club. This news comes despite the fact that the Uruguay international’s contract with the club is set to expire next summer, leading many to believe that he is destined for the exit door.
One way or another, though, it doesn’t appear as if he’s in any rush to make his mind up regarding his future, with one of the big rumours being that he is in touch with Inter Miami over the possibility of joining David Beckham’s MLS extension side.
Major League Soccer feels like it’d be a great home for Cavani, but even with that being the case, you just know Paris Saint-Germain would throw all of the money in the world at him if they felt the need to keep him on the books.
