French giants Paris Saint-Germain are linked with Fiorentina starlet Federico Chiesa who’s been identified as one of the stars for the future.
Les Parisiens have, according to reports from French media outlet Le 10 Sport, contacted Chiesa’s father to propose future move to Parc des Princes but Fiorentina are determined to keep hold of their gem for as long as possible.
It’s been reported that Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s emissaries held a meeting with Enrico Chiesa in Tuscany this week to discuss potential transfer but the initial consultation does not necessarily mean that the 20-year-old versatile midfielder would be moving to Paris any time soon.
Chiesa made a name for himself thanks to impressive displays for Viola during the 2016/17 season when he made 27 Serie A appearances.
As a player who can successfully fill in a number of positions in the midfield and offer plenty of support to the attacking line as well, Chiesa has been identified as a valuable asset to his club.
Italy Under-21 international made 11 league appearances this season for Fiorentina, bagging 2 goals in the process.
