PSG still want Gueye

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, French champions Paris Saint-Germain are once again interested in trying to sign Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye. The claim is that negotiations have already begun between the two clubs, with an opening bid being put forward of around £27 million. Gueye has been interested in the possibility of making the jump since back in January, but at that time, the Toffees were able to convince him to stay. Now, with his star rising even further courtesy of the Africa Cup of Nations, it seems like only a matter of time before he decides to leave Goodison Park once and for all.

PSG certainly have the funds necessary to keep pushing their bids higher and higher, and with that in mind, it definitely feels like Everton are going to keep pushing their own luck in an attempt to get as much money out of the European giants as they possibly can.
