According to reports in Spain, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid. The Frenchman would be returning back to his homeland to play for a club there for the first time in over a decade, although getting the deal done could wind up costing the Ligue 1 champions in a big way.

Griezmann has a €150 million release clause after re-signing with Atletico in the summer, in a big reveal where he was deciding whether or not to stay at Atletico or go to Barcelona.

The reason behind the deal is because they’re planning ahead for the departures of both Neymar and Edinson Cavani, who both appear to be interested in leaving the club. Griezmann, on the other hand, has already achieved a great deal in the game both domestically and internationally – and now, it could be time for him to make a selfish move after giving Atletico another year of his time.
