Rabiot turns down Newcastle?

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Adrien Rabiot isn’t considering Newcastle United as a possible next destination.

The Juventus midfielder is believed to be available for a fee of up to €15 million but the Frenchman is not actively considering them as a next destination. This may be a good indication, as if it wasn’t evident already, of the struggles Newcastle are going to face in the January transfer window and beyond.

Kieran Trippier’s signing was a nice move and there are several other players who they could likely bring in, but sometimes, there isn’t enough money in the world to take that big of a risk.

We’re talking about a club that is coming off the back of a humiliating FA Cup defeat at the hands of Cambridge United. If they aren’t able to fix up in the next few weeks, and months, they could be the most expensive club in the world and simultaneously be playing in the Championship.
