Race hots up for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe

Ivory Coast international winger Nicolas Pepe has been in sublime form in Ligue 1 this season and already has five goals in eight appearances for Lille.

His flying form seems to have attracted plenty of interest around Europe with the likes of Barcelona keeping a close eye on his progress. Lille president Gerard Lopez went on to confirm interest from La Liga title holders but remained adamant that Pepe will not be leaving club until the end of the season.

In the meantime, the likes of Everton, Sevilla and most recently Arsenal are all believed to have their sights set on the highly-rated 23-year-old.

Nicolas Pepe joined Lille last year from Angers in a €10 million deal but his price tag has soared thanks to his brilliant performances as Lille.

It is being speculated that Nicolas Pepe would not be leaving Lille for anything less than €30 million.
