Rangers 1/1 to beat Livingston to nil in Sunday’s Scottish Premiership clash

Competition: Scottish Premiership

Market: Rangers win to nil

Odds: 1/1 @ Bet 365

With the mood around Ibrox continuing to soar, a high-flying Rangers will make the trip to the Tony Macaroni Arena on Sunday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, suffering a 2-1 loss away at Motherwell last weekend and also throwing away a stoppage-time equalizer against Hibernian last month, Livingston find themselves in the midst of a rut. Failing to win any of their last four appearances, a run that stems back to a shock victory over Celtic prior to the international break, Gary Holt’s men also have a growing reputation for their toothless displays on home soil. Livingston have failed to find the net in three of their four matches at the Tony Macaroni Arena, it should also be noted that they have found the net in just one of their last six matches against the title challengers.

As for the visitors, picking up an outstanding 2-0 win over Portuguese champions Porto on Thursday night, the mood in Steven Gerrard’s camp remains the highest it has been in recent memory. Taking a huge step towards a spot in the knockout stage of this year’s Europa League, the former England midfielder will be most impressed by his side’s continued performances at the back. Recording yet another clean sheet in midweek, the Blues have recorded three clean sheets on the bounce and they have also gone over 350 minutes without picking the ball out of their own net.
