According to a recent report from Marca, Real Madrid are willing to let Eden Hazard go for an extraordinarily low fee compared to what they bought him for.

In what would serve as a loss of around £65 million, Madrid are ready to sell Hazard to potential suitors for a fee of around £23 million. It offers up an insight into how badly they want him off the books and, in addition to that, how other top European clubs value him after his last few years in Spain.

Hazard was considered to be one of the best players in the world once upon a time when he was tearing it up with Chelsea. Now, though, he appears to be back to square one, after a parade of injuries and a loss of form has harmed his chances at becoming a real icon at the Bernabeu.

The belief is that Madrid are ready to sell during the January transfer window but you have to wonder whether or not they’d also be happy to wait until the summer.
