Real Madrid reignite interest in Mane?

According to a recent report from France Football, Real Madrid have reignited their interest in Liverpool star Sadio Mane. It was well known that they were sniffing around Anfield a few months back over the possibility of going after Mohamed Salah, but now, their attention has changed course. Mane was a target for Zidane prior to his departure from Real during the summer, and now that he’s returned, he is back on the Mane hype train. The 26 year old has been arguably the Reds’ most influential player this season, and he seems to be going from strength to strength.

He joined Liverpool back in 2016 from Southampton, and at the time, he joined the club following a string of poor signings. With expectations at an all time low, the Senegal international has been able to perform better than anyone could’ve imagined since his move became official.

If Real do go after him, it’d likely take a sizeable fee to tempt him away from Merseyside.
