According to a recent report from Sport, Real Madrid are interested in making a push to sign Rafael Leao from AC Milan.
The 23-year-old’s future has been cause for great speculation in days and weeks gone by, with many wondering where he’s going to go next – given that it seems very, very likely he won’t stick with Milan.
He’s said to be unwilling to sign a new contract with his current deal being set to expire in summer 2024. Because of that, Milan may be forced to sell him sooner rather than later in the name of picking up a significant fee for his services.
He’s currently valued at around £74 million and is on the radar of a couple of clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United.
Alas, now that Real Madrid have entered the conversation, they could end up flipping the script to really put some pressure on the English clubs.
