Real reject Napoli loan offer for Rodriguez

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Real Madrid have rejected a loan offer that has come in from Italian side Napoli for James Rodriguez. The offer would be for Napoli to pay the Spanish giants €10 million throughout the course of the loan, with a €40 million purchase option. However, because of their hefty activity during the current summer transfer window, it seems as if Real are in need of the money now instead of later. It’s no secret that James has been interested in the idea of leaving Real, especially after departing Bayern Munich following his recent two year loan spell. He was once considered to be one of world football’s greatest talents, but in the last few years he hasn’t quite been able to live up to that hype. Now, with the prospect of a brand new league being on the horizon, he has another chance at turning things around.
