Real Sociedad want Odegaard

According to a recent report from AS, Spanish side Real Sociedad are hopeful that they can secure the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard. The 20 year old was considered to be the best thing since sliced bread when he made his way over to the Bernabeu a few short years ago, but ever since he has failed to really make much of an extended impact. Some fans wanted to see him be given a little bit more time, but it appears as if Real have ran out of patience.

Sociedad want to try and complete a two year loan deal for him, similar to the move that saw James Rodriguez join German side Bayern Munich for 24 months. There would be an option included for them to try and make the move permanent, but either way, it seems like a move away from Madrid would be the best way forward for the young Norwegian.
