Real Madrid will look to send Brahim Diaz to another club for the 2019/20 season, according to Marca.
Diaz only arrived to Madrid in January this year, and even though the club were aware of him being a player for the future, not the present, they were reluctant to loan him out straight away.
They will, however, find him a new club for 12 months this summer, where they hope he will be able to accumulate at least 40 appearances – something he certainly wouldn’t do at Santiago Bernabeu. The club’s decision to loan the 19-year-old out has nothing to do with Zinedine Zidane’s arrival to the dugout instead of Santiago Solari, as the plan existed even before the managerial switch.
It is important for Real to find the former Manchester City player the right temporary home. They are disappointed with goalkeeper Andriy Lunin getting only five games for Leganes this season, and they will now employ a more careful screening process.
