“Everyone knows I want to play more. Five minutes is not enough! To play is what I love. I do my best in every training session. The coach knows that, my team-mates too.

I always have to be ready. I’ll do my best for those five minutes. I have the self-confidence. And I’m playing well if I get the chance.”

When asked if he wanted to leave Bayern: “I think so. Whether a loan or a sale is better, we will see.”

Those are the words of Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches who has spoken about wanting to play more for the German giants. The youngster hasn’t been getting the kind of consistent game time that you’d expect for someone of his skill level and ability, which has led many to wonder whether or not he’ll be shipped off elsewhere – potentially on loan.

Sanches made the comments during a recent interview with Bild.
