Richarlison on Barcelona radar

Barcelona are once more contemplating the idea of moving in for Richarlison, according to Marca.

The Catalan club’s sporting director Eric Abidal has settled his mind on signing a striker to complement Luis Suarez, ease the pressure off the Uruguayan’s back and possibly become his long-term successor. They’ve long been linked with Luka Jović, who made his loan move to Eintracht Frankfurt from Benfica permanent a few days ago, but the Serbia international rejected all interests to stay with the Bundesliga outfit. Several other names have been mentioned, such as Nicolas Pepe of Lille and Rodrigo Moreno of Valencia, but now it seems Richarlison has appeared on the list again.

Barcelona have been following the Everton striker’s career ever since his arrival to England, to Watford in 2017, and they consider his 12-goal output in the Premier League to be staggering for a player playing for a team outside of the top six.
