Rodgers confident Celtic trio will re-sign

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that he fully expects Leigh Griffiths, James Forrest and Scott Brown to all sign new contracts with the Scottish champions. Many fans have been nervously waiting to see whether or not any of these deals would come to fruition, but as we look ahead to the near future, it seems as if they’re likely to be pushed through.

Rodgers stated that the Griffiths deal is very close to completion, that Brown has stated he wants to remain at the club, and that Forrest will be speaking with the club soon regarding the proposed new deal. While the James Forrest deal sounds a little bit less likely than the other two it certainly still seems like Celtic are moving in the right direction, and if they want to become a force in Europe, they need these kinds of players in order to help make it happen.
