Rodriguez interested by Everton switch

According to a recent report from Marca, James Rodriguez is intrigued by the possibility of making the jump over to the Premier League to sign for Everton.

The Colombian’s contract with Real Madrid is due to expire next summer, with questions being raised as to what direction he may go in next. Rodriguez’s tenure in Spanish football hasn’t quite lived up to the expectations that were put in front of him, but even with that being the case, many still view him as a world class talent that could go on to have a decent career elsewhere.

The reason for the potential Everton switch is largely due to Carlo Ancelotti. The veteran boss managed Rodriguez for one season at the Santiago Bernabeu, and while that wasn’t enough to convince the masses he’d be a success in Madrid, the familiarity appears to be attracting Rodriguez as we look ahead to the summer transfer window.
