According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo could be on his way back to Real Madrid in what would easily be one of the biggest transfer stories of the decade.
The belief is that Juventus are suffering from a few financial difficulties as a direct result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and because of that, they may accept an offer of around £50 million for the Portuguese star.
While Ronaldo’s tenure in Italy has been relatively successful up to this point, many have wondered where exactly he may choose to go next.
Some have suggested a move back to Manchester United could be on the cards, but now, it certainly seems as if it’s more likely that a return to Madrid will happen.
Either way, we probably aren’t going to get a definitive answer to this transfer saga for a few weeks at the very least, and probably a few months.
