Ronaldo could make Sporting return

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Cristiano Ronaldo could soon make his return to Sporting Lisbon.

It’s been almost two decades since Cristiano Ronaldo last made his presence known in Portuguese football but now, it seems as if he could be edging closer and closer to a comeback as his relationship with Manchester United continues to deteriorate.

Ronaldo walked down the tunnel during their recent win over Tottenham and with no signs of a fix to the situation, it seems like the veteran’s second run at Old Trafford will end in disappointment sooner rather than later.

The man himself knows that his time at the elite level is probably slowly coming to an end but even with that being the case, we don’t expect to see him go quietly into the night – and in fact, it’ll probably be the opposite given his reputation as such a fierce competitor in the sport.
