Rudiger wants to stay at Chelsea

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Antonio Rudiger is committed to the idea of staying at Chelsea as opposed to moving elsewhere.

While the 27-year-old’s contract is set to come up in 2022, there was some interest from a handful of parties during the most recent summer transfer window. The belief is that he now feels like he will be given enough game time to warrant staying at Stamford Bridge this season, ensuring that there are no issues during the upcoming January transfer window that could worry Blues fans.

Frank Lampard himself noted that he has held talks with Rudiger over his future, and at this stage in proceedings, it does seem as if things are looking good between all parties involved.

Whether or not that remains the case over the course of the next few windows remains to be seen, but the excitement levels are definitely up there when it comes to what Rudiger can continue to do moving forward.
