Sandro Wagner linked with Premier League switch

The 30-year-old Bayern Munich forward Sandro Wagner has been linked with a potential January move to the Premier League.

The German striker is said to be a transfer subject for West Ham and Crystal Palace, while Turkish heavyweights Galatasaray are also keeping an eye on the experienced frontman.

Wagner moved to Bayern Munich from Hoffenheim two years ago but has found his first-team opportunities severely limited due to a burgeoning presence on Robert Lewandowski.

He made 14 Bundesliga appearances during his first season back in Munich and scored eight goals. This year, however, he only made 4 appearances and has yet to score a goal in the league.

Getting Bayern Munich to sell their only direct replacement for Lewandowski and persuading Wagner to leave will not be an easy task, however.

Sandro Wagner told Germany media that he was perfectly aware of his position in the squad and is fully focused on giving the absolute best for the club of his heart.
