Kris Boyd’s injury-time equaliser ensured Kilmarnock came from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw at home to Ross County on Saturday.

Derek Adams’ side looked to be heading to just their second away win of the Scottish Premiership season when first-half goals from Yoann Arquin and Yann Songo’o put them 2-0 up at the break.

However, former Rangers striker Boyd had other ideas, as he pulled one back three minutes after half-time before then grabbing a 92nd-minute leveller with his 15th Scottish Premiership goal of the season.

Kilmarnock remain eighth in the table following the draw, while Ross County sit four points adrift of them in 10th.

In Saturday’s other fixture, Partick Thistle rescued a point in their game against Dundee United thanks to Gary Fraser’s 75th-minute equaliser at Firhill Stadium.

Jackie McNamara’s team would have moved above Inverness into fourth with a victory and looked on course to do just that when Farid El Alagui gave them the lead just before the half-hour mark.

But Fraser snatched a draw for struggling Partick, who have now won just one of their last 15 Premiership fixtures.
