Having previously missed a penalty in during the regular match time, Liverpool forward Sadio Mane made sure Senegal became the African Cup of Nations winners by scoring the decisive spot-kick in the shootout, following 120 minutes without a goal in the final against Egypt.
He still found time to offer some words of consolation to his club teammate, Egypt captain Mohamed Salah.
