Sissoko set for Spurs stay

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has told Moussa Sissoko that he is still part of his plans, according to the Mail Online.

The France international was signed by the North London side from Newcastle United a year ago though he didn’t feature as much as he would have hoped in his first season with the club.

He made twenty-five league appearances though only eight of those came from the start and completed ninety minutes just once.

He played one hundred and thirty-three times for Newcastle, scoring twelve times but left the club following their relegation to the Championship, having played an impressive part for France as they made the final of Euro 2016.

West Bromwich Albion have been linked with a move to secure his services though Pochettino has insisted that he still has a future at Spurs, who begin the new season with a trip to St James’s Park on August 13th.
