Southampton keen on Jack Clarke

Southampton manager Ralph Hassenhuttl is keen on signing Leeds United winger Jack Clarke, according to the Mirror.

The eighteen-year-old has broke into the Yorkshire club’s first team this season, racking up twelve league appearances and scoring two goals.

His first professional strike came in the come-from-behind win over Aston Villa on December 23rd while he also netted in the 4-2 defeat at Nottingham Forest ten days later.

Clarke had been linked with a move to Manchester City before he put pen to paper on his first professional contract at Elland Road, and Leeds have no intentional to sell as they are looking to achieve promotion to the top flight after an absence of fifteen years.

Hassenhuttl has made an impressive start to life as Saints manager, winning three of his last league games, and the south coast club can be backed at a price of 7/4 to beat Everton at St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday.
