Southampton are interested in signing Harry Wilson from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. It has been reported that the Saints have registered their interest in the Wales international winger.
Leeds United, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship, are also reported to be on the trail of the 23-year-old. The winger spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Bournemouth, who got relegated to the second tier of English football.
According to WhoScored, Wilson made 20 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League during his loan spell at the Cherries, scoring seven goals in the process. While the 23-year-old has progressed well in recent years during his loan spells, it is hard to see the winger established himself in Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup next season. Perhaps a permanent exit would be best for Wilson.
