Spurs emerge as frontrunners in Arthur Masuaku race

West Ham left-back Arthur Masuaku is enjoying a fine season in London which has sparked interest from many a top club.

AS Monaco, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have all been credited with an interest in the 24-year-old defender, The Sun claims.

Masuaku has been a huge presence for West Ham this season with David Moyes giving him a more advanced role in the team. Presented with a license to shoot forward, Masuaku uses his quick pace and trickery to give West Ham a broader perspective upfield.

Having already amassed 21 appearances for the Irons this season, Masuaku registered three assists.

His flying form saw him emerge as a hot transfer targets for the aforementioned clubs with The Sun claiming that Tottenham currently lead the line for his signature.

The Spurs are reportedly ready to splash out £20 million as they look for replacements for wantaway left-back Danny Rose.

Masuaku joined West Ham from Olympiacos in a £6 million move back in 2016.
