Sunderland are reportedly closing in on signing French winger Charles N’Zogbia from Wigan.
The 24-year-old has demanded a transfer away from the Latics and missed the defeat to Blackpool on Saturday.
N’Zogbia is expected to cost Black Cats boss Steve Bruce around £8million, according to News of the World.
Bruce signed N’Zogbia from Newcastle while he was manager at Wigan.
Sunderland are looking to make some big-name signings before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
