Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki has said that Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara is good enough to play in the Premier League.
Pukki plays with Kamara for the Finland national football team, and the Norwich star rates the former Arsenal prospect highly.
The 30-year-old former Celtic starred for the Canaries in the Premier League last season, as he scored 11 goals and provided three assists, according to WhoScored.
Kamara joined Rangers from Dundee in January 2019 and has established himself as an important player in manager Steven Gerrard’s team, who rated rated at 17/10 by Betfair to win the Old Firm derby against Celtic in the Scottish Premiership this weekend.
Pukki told The National about Kamara: “Glen is a top player and I think he would definitely do well in the English Premier League. I’d bet on him playing there at some point in his career.”
Premier League move in the future?
Kamara failed to break into the Arsenal first team, but the Finland international has done well since leaving the Gunners on a permanent basis in 2017.
The 24-year-old was a success at Dundee, and he is doing well for Rangers at the moment.
While it is hard to see the Gers entertain any offers for the 24-year-old in the January transfer window given his importance to the team fighting to win the Scottish Premiership title, perhaps net summer the former Arsenal prospect could be prised away by a club in the top flight of English football.
