While the 2026 World Cup might be fast approaching on the horizon, plenty of players are looking to get their domestic futures sorted this summer.
With under a month left of the 2025/26 campaign, a host of Premier League superstars watch their current contracts expire over the coming weeks.
Alongside Manchester City ace Bernardo Silva announcing that he will be leaving the Etihad this summer, Brazilian ace Casemiro has also confirmed he will be ending his four-season stay at Old Trafford.
With clubs from across the Premier League hard at work behind the scenes, we have taken a look at some of the British aces who are set to become free agents this summer.
John Stones – Manchester City
While many might be expecting John Stones to start at the heart of England’s defence at this summer’s World Cup, the 31-year-old looks set to touch down in North America as a free agent.
Although we might be waiting on an official announcement, it is widely expected that the former Everton defender will be ending his illustrious decade-long stay at the Etihad.
Only making seven Premier League appearances this season and dealing with a string of injury setbacks, Stones has not been seen in top-flight action since way back on December 2nd.
With his current deal in the blue half of Manchester set to expire this summer, both parties have long since accepted that a move away from the Etihad is inevitable.
Enjoying a record-breaking 10-year spell with Pep Guardiola’s side, Stones has won the Champions League, six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, three Carabao Cups and a UEFA Super Cup since he signed in 2016 from Everton.
Still hoping to add another two pieces of silverware to his packed cabinet before drawing a line under his decade of dominance in Manchester this summer, the England international will certainly have plenty of suitors from across the globe.

Andy Robertson – Liverpool
Arriving at Anfield for a fee of just £8million following a permanent switch from Hull City back in the summer of 2017, there is an argument that Andy Robertson is one of the smartest pieces of Liverpool’s business over the past decade.
Enjoying a hugely successful nine-year spell with the Premier League giants, the Scotland skipper has been a key figure in the red half of Merseyside.
Including getting his hands on a second Premier League title last season, Robertson has also tasted Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup success.
Cementing his spot as a genuine modern era Liverpool icon, the 32-year-old will bid an emotional farewell to Anfield at the end of the season and his decision was officially announced this month.
Watching former Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez dethrone him as Arne Slot’s first choice left-back this season, it has been suggested that Robertson could be extending his Premier League stay.
Although Tottenham might find themselves at the heart of an infamous relegation scrap, it has been widely suggested that the 92-cap international will join Spurs on a free transfer if they can maintain their Premier League status.
We can confirm Andy Robertson will bring his Reds career to an end at the conclusion of the current season.
He will do so as a Liverpool legend ❤️

Harry Wilson – Fulham
While Harry Wilson might have suffered major World Cup qualifying heartbreak with Wales last month, the 29-year-old has enjoyed a sensational domestic campaign in the English capital.
Although Fulham might have watched their European dreams take a potentially critical blow on either side of March’s international break, the 29-year-old has cemented his spot as Marco Silva’s leading man.
Receiving a string of plaudits this year, the one-time Liverpool youngster has recorded 10 Premier League goals at Craven Cottage and is the only Fulham player to reach double digits.
Breaking a string of personal records this season, it is no secret that the Fulham hierarchy are desperate to get their attacking talisman pencilled down to a bumper new deal in west London.
However, with talks failing to progress, Wilson looks set to complete a free switch away from Craven Cottage this summer and the 69-cap international has plenty of clubs chasing his signature.
Alongside links over a potential move to Everton, it has been suggested that Champions League chasers Aston Villa are sat in the driving seat and are inching towards agreeing a pre-contract agreement.
🚨🏴 Aston Villa are among clubs keen on signing Harry Wilson as free agent in the summer, race open.
Initial talks took place with decision to follow in the next months.
