Timo Werner 1/1 to score anytime against Sheffield United in Saturday’s Premier League matchup

Competition: Premier League

Market: Timo Werner to score anytime

Odds: 1/1 @ 888sport

Hoping to continue on their recent resurge, Chelsea will welcome a struggling Sheffield United to an empty Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

Starting with the hosts, managing to keep the mood in their camp at a recent high with a thumping 3-0 win against Rennes while on Champions League duties earlier in the week, Chelsea will be confident of making another statement this weekend. Cruising their way to the knockout stage in Europe, the Blues are enjoying a three-match winning run and Frank Lampard will be hugely excited by Timo Werner’s immediate impact since securing a summer move from RB Leipzig. Bagging a brace at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, the German international has recorded five goals in his last three appearances across all competitions, including getting on the scoresheet against Burnley last weekend. Spearheading a Chelsea side that have scored 10 strikes on their recent winning run, it is well worth keeping an eye out for Werner on Saturday.

As for the visitors, with Chris Wilder announcing his displeasure at his side’s 1-0 defeat against former champions Manchester City last weekend, Sheffield United find themselves in the midst of what has been an extended rut. Along with signing off the 2019/2020 campaign by losing each of their last three appearances on the bounce, the Blades have managed to pick up just a single point from their opening seven contests so far this season. With many believing that last year’s surprise package could be a leading relegation contender this time around, Wilder will have a real headache over his side’s glaring issues in the final third. Managing to bag just a single goal from open play so far, United certainly face a tough trip to West London this weekend.
