Tottenham Hotspur eye Max Aarons as Serge Aurier replacement

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Max Aarons from Norwich City in the summer of 2021, according to Eurosport. It has been reported that the future of right-back Serge Aurier is in doubt following his bust-up with head coach Jose Mourinho at half time during the Premier League game between Liverpool.

Norwich right-back Aarons is reportedly on the radar of Tottenham, who are struggling to challenge for the Premier League top four this season and lost to Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the London derby on Thursday evening. Manchester United and Bayern Munich have also been linked with the 21-year-old.

Tottenham have reportedly been scouting Aarons over the past year. The England Under-21 international has scored one goal in 27 Championship matches and has made one start and one substitute appearance in the FA Cup for Norwich so far this season, according to WhoScored. The Canaries are aiming to win automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.
