If the Dimitar Berbatov transfer to Manchester United materialises then Tottenham Hotspur could turn their attention towards Newcastle UnitedÂ’s striker and captain Michael Owen.
Both Manchester United and FC Barcelona have been interested in the Bulgarian striker.
Michael Owen is in the final year of his contract at St James Park.
