Sevilla striker Frederic Kanoute has been linked to a Tottenham Hotspur return by English newspaper Daily Mail.
The French born Malian represented the Spurs from 2003 to 2005, before joining Spanish side Sevilla. In Andalusia, he worked with Juande Ramos who would late take the reigns in London.
Kanoute could replace Bulgarian Dimitar Berbatov, who appears to be on his way out at White Hart Lane.
