Tottenham scout Joachim Andersen

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Tottenham Hotspur sent scouts to watch Sampdoria’s Joachim Andersen play against Genoa this past weekend. The 22 year old Danish youngster has been linked with a series of top European clubs, with Italian side Inter Milan being located towards the top of the list. Spurs are well known to have been in the running, and now, it appears as if they’re taking their interest to the next level. Andersen has been with Sampdoria since back in 2017 when he made the jump over from FC Twente, and in that time he’s been able to establish himself as one of the most exciting young players in Europe today. Spurs, on the other hand, are in desperate need of some new faces in the summer – especially after failing to bring in anyone last year.

Spurs are currently in the race for the top four in England, whereas Sampdoria are situated in mid-table in Italy.
