Tottenham & West Ham want Meite

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are set to battle it out for the signature of Torino midfielder Soualiho Meite. The 25 year old has been with Torino since last year, when he made the jump over from French club Monaco. Ever since then he’s been able to establish himself as one of the most exciting young midfielders in the game, which is probably why he’s receiving so much attention. Both Spurs and West Ham already have some great midfielders in their books but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to add another, with Meite being a prime candidate.

Meite has flown under the radar when it comes to the mainstream football fans, but for hardcores, they’ll have known about him for quite some time. Now, it finally seems as if he’s going to get the big step up he deserves.
